Entry # 1 - Profile

Greetings! I am Darryl Aquino, 20 years old. I am studying to be a teacher, I am currently studying Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English at Holy Angel University.

I am a shifter, meaning I was not an education student before. I was enrolled for two semesters in the engineering department when I knew my calling, my profession, that will be my mission, and eventually, vocation. I long to be an effective and efficient teacher for they are rare and the ones who truly touch lives. I will shape and nurture my future students to their best form.

Why did I took English as my major? The funny thing is that when I was filling up the shifting form I knew I wanted education, but have no idea of what major should I pick. I ended picking up English, since I was a good story teller. Little did I know, I suck at nouns, pronouns, adjectives, adverbs, and the language aspect of it. Through the years, I learned a lot and I am loving every single day of being an English major.

The Aquino Bureau will serve as my journal entries that shall accompany me throughout my last year in taking my bachelors degree. Stay tuned for more updates. Feel free to comment and subsribe to my blog. God bless!
